Jordan Daniels netted a game-high 21 60, on Wednesday.

Matt Humphrey finished with 15 points and Ryan Anderson contributed 14 points and six rebounds for the Eagles (8-16, 3-7 ACC), who snapped a six-game skid. Lonnie Jackson added 12 points in the victory.

Michael Snaer paced the Seminoles (16-7, 7-2) with 16 points and seven rebounds, while Bernard James added 12 points and seven boards. Ian Miller chipped in with 12 points for Florida State, which had its seven-game winning streak halted.

With the game tied at 43 and under 14 minutes to play in regulation, Boston College used an 8-2 burst to create some distance and push out to a 51-45 lead, capped by a Daniels trey.

A layup by Snaer with under six minutes left pulled the Seminoles within four, but a free throw by Humphrey and a jumper by Anderson put the Eagles back up seven with just over four minutes left.

Two free throws by Okaro White made it 60-57, but free throws by Jackson and Humphrey at the other end made it 63-57 with just 11 seconds to play.

Saner drained a three with five seconds left to keep Florida State's hope alive, but Daniels sealed the win with a clutch free throw with three seconds left.

Florida State got off to a fast start with a 14-5 run to start the game, capped by White's three-point play.

A jumper by White with 9 1/2 minutes to play in the first half staked the Seminoles to a comfortable 23-10 lead, but it would not last.

Daniels connected on a jumper a minute later which sparked a 23-3 burst by Boston College to put the Eagles ahead, 33-26, with 3 1/2 minutes to go before the break.

Snaer finally put an end to the run with a jumper to pull Florida State within five, 33-28, but the Eagles led 34-33 at halftime.

Boston College shot just 40 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes, but went 8-of-14 from beyond the arc.

The teams traded baskets early in the second half and a dunk by James put the Seminoles up 43-41, but Anderson answered with a jumper at the other end to tie things at 43.
