Boise, ID – Boise State has reinstated wide receiver Geraldo Boldewijn and he could play Friday night when the No. 5 Broncos play on the road against Fresno State.
Boldewijn, a sophomore, is one of three Dutch players who have missed games this season due to eligibility problems. Safety Cedric Febis was reinstated prior to the second game against Toledo, while defensive tackle Ricky Tjong-A- Tjoe is still not eligible.
A spokesman for the school said the school "is planning to make a detailed statement about the situation with the Dutch players later this week."
Boldewijn appeared in all 13 games during his debut season with the Broncos in 2010 and had 11 catches for 160 yards.
