The Toronto Blue Jays assigned pitcher Kyle A Las Vegas on Saturday.

Davies was signed by Toronto on Friday after the Royals released him August 10 as part of a roster reshaping. Reports later surfaced that the right-hander was arrested in Tampa on charges of disorderly intoxication the day before, though the club denied knowledge of the arrest before Davies' release.

The 27-year-old starter was a dismal 1-9 with a 6.75 earned run average in 13 outings with KC.

Over seven pro seasons with the Braves and Royals, Davies has gone 43-65 with a 5.59 ERA in 151 games (144 starts).
