Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Columbus Blue Jackets left wing Matt Calvert was activated off injured reserve Tuesday.
Calvert had missed the past four contests with an upper body injury he suffered on Nov. 7. He also missed four games with an upper body injury in late October before being activated on Nov. 4.
In nine games this season, the 24-year-old Manitoba native has one goal and one assist.
The Blue Jackets also claimed defenseman Kevin Connauton off waivers from the Dallas Stars and assigned defenseman Frederic St. Denis to their American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield.
