Portland's LaMarcus Aldridge exited Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs with what the Trail Blazers have initially deemed a back contusion.
In the third quarter, Aldridge drove into the lane and collided with Aron Baynes while converting a runner. Baynes was called for a foul, but Thomas Robinson attempted and made the free throw after Aldridge was helped into the locker room.
Prior to exiting, Aldridge had scored 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting. The All- Star forward came into the game averaging 23.6 points and 11.2 rebounds per game -- both career bests.
