PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) Buffalo Bills tackle Seantrel Henderson has been cleared for practice in taking the next step since having two operations on parts of his intestines to reduce the effects of Crohn's disease.
The Bills announced Henderson passed his physical on Monday, when the team returned to its training camp site in suburban Rochester following a day off.
Henderson's future was in question since he was diagnosed with the inflammatory bowel disease in December. He had two operations over a four-month stretch. The first removed diseased tissue, and the other was performed in April to re-attach the intestine.
The Bills selected Henderson in the seventh round of the 2014 draft out of Miami. He started 16 games at right tackle during his rookie season, and another 10 last year.
