LeSean McCoy practiced for the second straight day on Thursday, thus providing some hope that he'll be able to take the field in Week 6.

While he's certainly not guaranteed to play, Rex Ryan and the Bills are feeling better than they have about McCoy of late.

"I know LeSean is getting better," Ryan said via the team's official website. "Is he at 100 percent now? No, certainly he is not, but he is getting better and we'll see what happens as the week progresses with him. But in the near future, maybe not this week, but in the near future that would be a possibility."

Ryan isn't overly confident that he'll have his star running back this week, but he's moving in the right direction.

"Cautiously optimistic," Ryan said. "I hope he can go. We'll see."

The Bills take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday in what could be their biggest test thus far. Without McCoy -- and possibly Tyrod Taylor -- the Bills may have a hard time keeping up with the Bengals' high-powered offense. McCoy's return would provide a huge boost to the Bills' offense.
