The Buffalo Bills are less than a week away from kicking off the regular season, but injuries are still abound and could impact Week 1.

According to Mike Rodak of ESPN, starting outside linebacker Manny Lawson was absent from practice on Tuesday, while the Bills have not disclosed the reasoning for his absence. The team doesn't have to file an injury report for Lawson or any other player until Wednesday.

Lawson is entering his third season with the Bills after playing for both the Bengals and 49ers. He played in 16 games last season and only recorded 20 tackles after making 73 tackles in 2013. He's expected to be the starter on the strong side, which means an injury to Lawson would further deplete the Bills' linebacker group.
