Bryon Fields and fourth-string running back Joseph Ajeigbe each returned interceptions for touchdowns in Duke's 47-13 rout of Tulane on Saturday.

Anthony Boone, Josh Snead, Thomas Sirk and Shaun Wilson each had short scoring runs. They helped the Blue Devils (4-0) extend their best start since the 1994 team opened with seven straight wins.

Boone finished 15 of 27 for 181 yards and his second-quarter interception was Duke's first turnover of the season.

Jamison Crowder caught six passes for 119 yards for the Blue Devils, who held just a 437-375 advantage in total yards.

Lazedrick Thompson rushed for 124 yards, and he and Dontrell Hilliard had scoring runs for the mistake-prone Green Wave (1-3).

Tanner Lee was 14 of 35 for 160 yards but was intercepted three times — including Fields' late pick-six.

The Blue Devils scored 21 points off Tulane's five turnovers.
