Bhullar wins weather-plagued event in Taipei

Gaganjeet Bhullar closed with his second straight 3-under 69 on Monday to win the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship.

Bhullar finished the weather-shortened event at 12-under-par 204 at Linkou International Golf and Country Club. The win was his third on the Asian Tour.

The second round was halted on Friday and called off again on Saturday as Typhoon Sanba made landfall in Taipei. The second round was finally completed on Sunday before the third and final round was played on Monday.

Thaworn Wiratchant, who won his tour record 14th title last week, closed with an even-par 72 to share second place at minus-8. He was joined there by Jason Knutzon, who shot 71 on Monday.

David Lipsky (70), Wen-tang Lin (67), Chien-yao Hung (68) and Berry Henson (72) tied for fourth at 7-under-par 209.
