The upcoming UFC event in Croatia just landed a blockbuster main event as Ben Rothwell returns to action to face Junior Dos Santos in a five-round headliner between two of the best heavyweights in the world.

UFC officials announced the new pairing on Monday.

Rothwell will look to secure his fifth win in a row as he returns to the Octagon on Sunday, April 10 in Croatia.

The heavy-handed slugger just recently picked up another big win as he submitted Josh Barnett in the first round at FOX UFC Fight Night in New Jersey, stomping ever closer to a title shot.

Rothwell has looked virtually unbeatable lately, but he'll have to go through a former champion if he wants to extend his streak and stay on the path for a title shot.

Dos Santos will not only look to beat Rothwell in April, but also find some redemption after falling to Alistair Overeem in his last fight.

Dos Santos was plagued with injuries throughout 2015, but when he finally returned the Brazilian got a rude welcome from Overeem, who knocked him out in the second round.

Dos Santos has bounced back and forth between wins and losses over his past six fights, but now the former champion will look to start fresh in 2016 with a victory over one of the best heavyweights in the world.

UFC Fight Night from Croatia will also feature the following bouts as confirmed by the promotion:

Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Ruslan Magomedov

Bojan Mihajlovic vs. Francis Ngannou

Marcin Tybura vs. Timothy Johnson

Jan Blochowicz vs. Igor Pokrajac

Bartosz Fabinski vs. Nicolas Dalby

Damir Hadzovic vs. Mairbek Taisumov

Bojan Velickovic vs. Alessio Di Chirico

Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday, Feb. 12 as the UFC lands in Croatia for the first time ever.
