LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) The Chicago Bears have parted ways with veteran safety Antrel Rolle.

Rolle said Sunday on Twitter that he appreciated the opportunity the Bears gave him and that he is ''looking forward to what is next.'' The move comes after the Bears drafted two safeties - Deon Bush of Miami in the fourth round and William & Mary's DeAndre Houston-Carson in the sixth.

Rolle, a three-time Pro Bowl pick, appeared in just seven games for Chicago last season after signing a three-year deal. He had one pass breakup and no interceptions before being placed on injured reserve in December because of a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee.

Rolle had 26 interceptions over 10 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants before joining the Bears.
