Trevor Bayne will start on the pole for Friday night's Food City 250 Nationwide Series race after topping the qualifying charts at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Bayne, who hails from nearby Knoxville, Tenn., turned a lap at 121.190 mph. He was fastest in practice earlier in the day and therefore the last driver to qualify in the 46-car field.

Joey Logano grabbed the outside pole with a lap at 121.090 mph. Brian Scott qualified third, followed by rookie Austin Dillon and Ricky Stenhouse Jr., the defending series champion.

Justin Allgaier, Elliott Sadler, the current points leader, Brad Keselowski, Sam Hornish Jr. and Kyle Busch completed the top-10.

Danica Patrick will start 34th.

Morgan Shepherd, Stephen Leicht and Blake Koch failed to qualify for the 250- lap race at Bristol, which is scheduled to start just after 7:30 p.m. (ET).
