Baylor keeps top spot in women's hoops poll

Baylor is again a unanimous choice as the top team in the Associated Press women's college basketball poll.

The undefeated Lady Bears received all 40 first-place votes and a total of 1,000 points from a nationwide media panel, earning the undisputed top spot for a 13th consecutive week.

Stanford, Notre Dame and Connecticut held firm from two through four, while Duke moved up two spots to fifth. Maryland, Miami-Florida, Delaware, Penn State and Kentucky complete this week's top 10.

The second 10 is comprised of Green Bay, Georgetown, Tennessee, Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Texas A&M, St. John's, St. Bonaventure and Louisville. Ohio State tumbled six spots from eighth after a 71-57 drubbing at Nebraska and Tennessee dropped three places from 10th.

Purdue, Gonzaga, Rutgers, Nebraska and South Carolina are the last five teams ranked this week. South Carolina is the lone newcomer, returning to the poll after a one-week absence, replacing DePaul.
