Agadir, Morocco (SportsNetwork.com) - Bayern Munich booked its place in the FIFA Club World Cup final thanks to a convincing 3-0 defeat of Guangzhou Evergrande at the Stade Adrar on Tuesday.

The reigning Champions League winners dominated from start to finish but only managed to break the scoreless deadlock five minutes before the halftime interval as a failed clearance fell to Franck Ribery, who slammed home a left- footed volley into the back of the net.

Mario Mandzukic managed to double Bayern's advantage before the break as he nodded home a cross from Tiago Alcantara in the 44th minute, and Mario Gotze continued Bayern's surge in the first minute of the second period when he unleashed a right-footed shot that found the upper corner.

Bayern continued to boss the match but failed to extend its lead beyond three goals.

The German side advances to the final where it will face the winner of Wednesday's semifinal between Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro and Moroccan side Raja Casablanca.
