Bayern Munich has agreed to sign Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic from Wolfsburg, and will sign the Euro 2012 star to a four-year contract.

The 26-year-old Mandzukic will undergo a physical soon to complete his switch from Wolfsburg join Bayern on an undisclosed fee. He had 20 goals in 56 games for Wolfsburg and led Croatian with three goals at Euro 2012.

"We're pleased we've been able to bring in Mario Mandzukic, one of the best forwards in the Bundesliga, who also demonstrated his special goalscoring ability at EURO 2012 in Poland and Ukraine," said Bayern director of sport Christian Nerlinger on Wednesday.

"He'll make our squad even stronger."

Mandzukic started his career with Marsonia in Croatia, and also played with NK Zagreb and Dinamo Zagreb before leaving his homeland for Wolfsburg in 2010.

He has eight goals in 32 matches for Croatia.
