FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) Dennis Rodman thinks the New York Jets will rebound this season.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer stopped by the team's training camp practice Wednesday sporting green-painted fingernails.

Rodman, a five-time NBA champion and seven-time league rebounding leader, was born in Trenton, New Jersey. In an Instagram post on the Jets' account , Rodman told fans he was rooting for the team and made a bold declaration.

''It's time for this team to do one thing, baby,'' Rodman said. ''It's time to take over New York. No more Giants, but the New York Jets. Jets, Jets, Jets.''

In a radio interview last week, Jets coach Todd Bowles compared wide receiver Quincy Enunwa to Rodman, saying that he's ''a jack of all trades.'' Bowles also told 98.7 ESPN NY that Enunwa ''gets the rebounds, he dives on the floor for loose balls, he does a bunch of things.''

Rodman wasn't the only big name who showed up for practice. Former Yankees second baseman and Mets manager Willie Randolph was in attendance , as was former Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson, who works as an analyst for NFL Network.
