The Pittsburgh Steelers defense is getting healthy as the stretch drive begins.

Barring a setback this week, cornerback Ike Taylor and safety Troy Polamalu will both play on Sunday when the Steelers host New Orleans. Taylor hasn't played since Week 3 due to a broken right forearm, while Polamalu is recovering from a sprained left knee.

Linebacker Ryan Shazier is nearing a return from a sprained ankle and linebacker Jarvis Jones can be activated sometime in the next three weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a broken wrist.

Taylor says he's been impressed with the play of the defense without so many starters but added he's ready to get back on the field as the Steelers try to emerge from the crowded AFC North.
