Azarenka, Mirnyi claim gold in mixed doubles

Wimbledon, England – The Belarusian tandem of Victoria Azarenka and Max Mirnyi rallied to beat the British pair of Andy Murray and Laura Robson 2-6, 6-3, 10-8 and claim the mixed doubles gold medal.

Murray was seeking his second gold after besting Roger Federer in the singles final earlier Sunday.

Lisa Raymond and Mike Bryan of the United States outlasted the German tandem of Sabine Lisicki and Christopher Kas 6-3, 4-6, 10-4 to win the bronze medal.
