DENVER, Colorado (Reuters) - Colorado Avalanche starting goaltender Craig Anderson will be out indefinitely with a knee injury he suffered during a pre-game warmup, the NHL team on Wednesday.
Anderson, injured before Tuesday's game against Vancouver, will not require surgery but will need treatment, the team said on their website. (http://avalanche.nhl.com/).
Anderson, who is 3-4 this season with a 3.15 goals against average, will be replaced Peter Budaj who is 1-0-1 in two starts this season.
