Tight end David Ausberry and left offensive tackle Jared Veldheer were among three players ruled out for the Oakland Raiders' Week 1 tilt at Indianapolis.

Veldheer is expected to be sidelined for a good portion of the upcoming season after partially tearing his left triceps in mid-August. His backup, rookie Menelik Watson, also will not play on Sunday due to an injured knee.

Right tackle Khalif Barnes will likely move to the left side for Sunday's matchup, with veteran Tony Pashos -- signed by Oakland on Monday -- the top candidate to start at right tackle.

Ausberry, listed atop the team's depth chart at tight end, has not practiced all week while recovering from a separated shoulder.

In addition, rookie linebacker Sio Moore is listed as questionable for the opener due to an ailing foot. The third-round draft choice had won a starting job on the strong side during the preseason.
