Augsburg signed Gambia striker Dawda Bah year contract.

Bah, 27, had 19 goals and 27 assists in 98 top-flight games for Helsinki, the current Finnish champions. He has played nine times for Gambia and scored two goals.

"In Dawda Bah we've signed up a player who can be deployed across the line up front and we're very glad to have him on board," Augsburg sporting director Andreas Rettig said.

Augsburg, promoted to Germany's top flight this season, is winless after four matches this season - its first-ever in the Bundesliga.
