Aroldis Chapman had a night to forget against the San Francisco Giants in Game 3 of the NLDS.
Cubs manager Joe Maddon went to his closer with two on and nobody out in the bottom of the eighth inning, with the Cubs holding a one-run lead, and Chapman gave up two hits a walk while recording one out, and when he left the Giants were ahead.
Chapman got an opportunity to redeem himself on Tuesday when the Cubs put together a stunning comeback in the top of the ninth inning in Game 4, scoring four runs to give Chapman a one-run lead to close out the series.
He did.
Afterwards, Chapman shared a message for Cubs fans.
The Cubs are onto the NLCS.
