Jeremy Hence scored 23 points as Army ended Bucknell's nine-game winning streak with a 90-70 victory on Saturday.

The Black Knights (11-11, 3-4 Patriot League) shot 60.7 percent (17 of 28) in the first half, when they took a 42-34 lead.

A couple of 3-pointers by Darryl Shazier helped Bucknell narrow the lead early in the second half, but the Bison (15-8, 6-1) could not keep up with Army's outside shooting.

Two 3-pointers by Ella Ellis and one by Josh Herbeck helped make it 60-48 Army, and a steal by Nathan Hedgecock and a breakaway dunk by Cartavious Kincade widened it to 70-55 with 6:10 left.

Julian Simmons had 15 points and Ellis 14 for the Black Knights.

Mike Muscala led Bucknell with 20 points.

Zach Spiker became the first coach to win 25 games in his first two seasons with Army since Mike Krzyzewski.
