An injury to winger Arjen Robben has put on a damper on Carlo Ancelotti's victory in his debut as Bayern Munich's manager. The Dutch star scored in the 33rd minute, but limped off the pitch with an apparent groin injury minutes later.

The club tweeted that the injury was "hopefully nothing serious," but it nevertheless is a concern for the Bundesliga champions. Robben's injury history is extensive, with the 32-year-old missing matches for Bayern with various injuries nearly every season.

During Bayern's title defense last season, Robben missed 15 matches with adductor problems, per When healthy, Robben is an absolute force along the right wing for Bayern Munich. His durability, though, is his biggest issue.

It remains to be seen how long, if at all, Robben will be shelved with this latest knock. Fortunately for the Bundesliga champs, the club has made strides to reinforce the attack during this transfer window. If Robben remains out for an extended period of time, newcomer Renato Sanches would likely fill the void. In fact, after such a dominant performance at the Euros, the argument could be made that Sanches should be taking minutes from Robben regardless.

Whatever the future holds for Robben, it's clear that Ancelotti and Bayern can't count on him to hold up against the rigors of another long season in both the Bundesliga and Champions League.
