The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated outfielder Adam Eaton from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday.

Eaton has yet to play in the regular season, but did bat .390 with two home runs and 10 RBI in 20 spring training games before landing on the disabled list on March 30, retroactive to March 22, with a strained left elbow.

The 24-year-old Eaton hit .256 with two home runs, 13 RBI and eight stolen bases in 26 rehab games with Triple-A Reno, Single-A Visalia and Rookie AZL D- backs.

In 22 appearances with Arizona last season, Eaton batted .259 with two homers and five RBI.

To make room for Eaton, the D'Backs optioned right-handed pitcher Charles Brewer to Reno.
