Arizona coach Bruce Arians liked the way his defense played against Tampa Bay and praised the special teams.

When it came to the offense, he had a blunt assessment: Putrid.

The Cardinals pulled out a difficult and much-needed road victory on Sunday, scoring 10 points in the final 3:06 to beat the Buccaneers 13-10.

Patrick Peterson led the defense, intercepting two passes, including one to set up the tying touchdown.

The offense struggled most of the day, though, plagued by missed assignments, penalties, dropped passes and poorly thrown balls.

The Cardinals at least pulled out the victory, leaving them 2-2 instead of 1-3 heading into a difficult stretch in the schedule that starts Sunday against Carolina.
