Former middleweight champion Anderson Silva will be out of commission for four-to-six weeks after undergoing successful surgery Wednesday afternoon, according to a statement from the UFC.
Silva was pulled from his bout against Uriah Hall at UFC 198 after abdominal pain resulted in having his gallbladder removed.
According to the statement, Silva is recovering from the minimally invasive surgery and could be back in the gym by July at the latest.
