Frankfurt, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Eintracht has extended the contract of defender Bamba Anderson by three years, tying him to the club until 2018.

The deal was confirmed by Eintracht on Monday with Anderson having made 99 appearances for the club since his arrival from Monchengladbach in 2011.

"I'm really pleased that I am going to be staying with Eintracht for three more years," Anderson told his club's website. "I'm really happy here in Frankfurt and my family like it a lot here, and that's important for me. I get on really well with the coach and the team. Furthermore, the last three and a half years have been really successful for me and I would like to carry on this way, which is why I've extended for three years."

The 27-year-old Anderson has started 14 of Eintracht's 17 games in league this term, helping the team reach eighth place in the league table midway through the campaign.
