Livorno, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - A late double from Amauri helped Parma claim a 3-0 win at Livorno on Saturday, piling more pressure on the hosts.

Livorno entered the contest two points from safety in 19th place, but the club went behind in the opening two minutes to a goal from Raffaele Palladino, who finished off a cross from Jonathan Biabiany to give his side an early advantage.

Palladino nearly doubled his tally in the 17th minute when his shot clipped the outside of the post, while Livorno applied its own pressure after the break.

Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante had to be in top form to keep out a close- range header from Cristiano Piccini and he produced two more fine stops to keep his side's narrow 1-0 lead intact.

After withstanding the spell of pressure, Parma sealed the win with a pair of goals from Amauri in the final 10 minutes.

Massimo Gobbi's shot struck the post during a scramble in front of goal and Amauri was on hand to fire home the rebound before he scored again in stoppage time from the penalty spot after Emerson fouled Pedro Mendes inside the area.

Bologna moved two points clear of the bottom three in Saturday's other match as the team earned a 0-0 draw at home against Lazio.
