Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall could be plying his trade in a BCS conference by now. He's turned down more than a few opportunities.

First it was to stay at tiny Winthrop, where he won seven conference titles, and more recently to stay at Wichita State, where he's won at least 25 games three straight seasons.

His 20th-ranked Shockers are leading the Missouri Valley with their sights already set on a March run to remember. They're 18-2 overall and are coming off wins over then-No. 12 Creighton and Missouri State.

Marshall is leaving open the possibility of moving onto a more high-profile gig, but he also points out "you can't buy happy," and he's never happier than when he's winning games.
