Milan, Italy – AC Milan announced on Friday that the club has signed manager Massimiliano Allegri to a new contract that runs until 2014.
Allegri took over the Rossoneri in the summer of 2010 and guided the club to its first league title since 2004 last campaign.
The 44-year-old's contract was set to expire at the end of the season, but with Milan tied atop the league with Juventus on 37 points through 17 games, the club was eager to extend his stay.
