Chantell Alford scored 22 points and Rashidat Agboola had a double-double to lead Boston University to a 66-49 upset win over No. 17 St. John's on Saturday.

Alford knocked down six 3-pointers, shooting 7 of 12 from the floor for the Terriers (5-3). Agboola finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds — six offensive — and Danielle Callahan added 14 points.

Boston snapped the four-game winning streak of the Red Storm (4-2), who struggled to keep pace. The Terriers took a 32-13 lead when Alford made a 3-pointer with 3:54 left in the first half.

Boston kept the momentum going in the second half, pushing its lead to 22 points on Agboola's layup with 12:50 left in the game. St. John's pulled no closer than 16 points the rest of the way.

Amber Thompson was the only St. John's player to score in double figures with 11 points.
