Alex Francis scored 21 points and Dyami Starks had 18 to lead Bryant to a 78-58 win over St. Francis (Pa.) on Saturday.

Bryant did not have much trouble with the Red Flash, jumping out to a 22-8 lead when Francis scored on a layup with 6:36 left in the first half. The Bulldogs closed the first half with a 9-3 run to claim a 40-18 halftime advantage.

St. Francis never posed a threat the rest of way, shooting 38 percent (21 of 55) from the floor for the game. Bryant shot 54 percent (27 of 50) in the victory.

Frankie Dobbie scored 11 points and had four assists, but also had six turnovers for the Red Flash (9-4, 2-0 Northeast Conference). Joe O'Shea pitched in with 10 points and Francis had seven rebounds.

Earl Brown recorded a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds for St. Francis (1-12, 1-1).
