OK, so maybe it's not the Game of the Century.

No doubt it's the game of the year.

Nothing new there.

Alabama-LSU has become the greatest rivalry in college football, supplanting Michigan-Ohio State, Florida-Florida State and any other annual showdown with historic overtones. Last year, the Southeastern Conference rivals met twice. During the regular season, the Crimson Tide was ranked No. 1 and the Tigers were No. 2, but it was LSU winning the so-called "Game of the Century" 9-6.

They met again with the national championship on the line. Alabama romped to a 21-0 victory.

Another epic showdown looms Saturday night in Baton Rouge. The top-ranked Tide (8-0, 5-0 SEC) is rolling toward another national title but must get by No. 5 LSU (7-1, 3-1).
