TEMPE, Ariz. – Three days after his triumphant return against the Washington Redskins, Carson Palmer is looking forward to practice.
That's something a football player rarely says.
The Arizona quarterback said that he's "probably the most excited a guy as there is in the league for a Wednesday practice."
Palmer only had a portion of a practice last Friday before throwing two touchdown passes in the Cardinals' 30-20 win over Washington. He hadn't played since injuring a nerve in his throwing shoulder in the season opener.
Palmer said the arm feels fine but he needs to strengthen it in preparation for next Sunday's game at Oakland.
