There's no way Wichita State is going to shock anybody next season.

The upstarts from the Missouri Valley Conference were picked to finish somewhere in the middle of the league this year, only natural after losing all five starters from a team that won enough to earn a No. 5 seed to the NCAA tournament last season.

But with an entirely new group of guys running the show, coach Gregg Marshall's bunch got on the kind of late roll that Butler and VCU know real well, and the result was the school's first trip to the Final Four since 1965.

Now, with leading scorer Cleanthony Early and several other key contributors coming back next season, the Shockers are sure to be the mid-major everybody has on their radar.
