ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) New York Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez remains in the starting lineup despite having a bruised left knee.
A-Rod was the third-place hitter in Tuesday night's game against Tampa Bay after undergoing an MRI earlier in the day. He was also examined by team orthopedic doctor Daniel Murphy.
It is thought that Rodriguez was hurt sliding in Sunday's game against Toronto.
