San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Braylon Edwards will not be suspended by the NFL for a 2010 DWI arrest, the team confirmed Tuesday.

While Edwards won't miss any games, he was fined $50,000 by the league for violating its substance abuse policy, according to multiple reports.

Edwards, 28, signed a one-year contract with the 49ers following the lockout.

He was playing for the New York Jets when he was pulled over in Manhattan last year for having tinted car windows and failed a breathalyzer test. He pleaded guilty in July.

Edwards has 326 catches for 5,142 yards and 39 touchdowns in seven NFL seasons for the Cleveland Browns and Jets.
