Doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles performed a CAT scan Friday on a patient that has been dead for 200 years. A mummy.
The man was buried in a crypt in Hungary in the late 1700s, and scientists only recently unearthed the body from the bottom of a church, MyFoxLa.com reported. Doctors estimated that he was 38 to 40 years old when he died. The mummified remains are so delicate that if touched they crumble to dust.
The mummy along with hundreds more will be on display at the California Science Museum beginning July 1.
