White House Says Dinner Crashers Were Not Invited

The White House tells Fox Friday that the couple who crashed the White House State Dinner this week was not invited to that dinner, despite reports from their attorney that they were "cleared" to attend by the White House.
   An administration official says the White House has asked the Secret Service for a full review.
   The Secret Service has told Fox that they are indeed investigating; with staff working on the issue over the Thanksgiving holiday.
   Secret Service Spokesman, and Special Agent in Charge, Ed Donovan says the investigation is the agency's top priority.
   Though Tareq and Michaele Salahi got into the event without an invitation, they did go through the magnetometers and were not a threat security-wise, we're told.
   However, the Secret Service admits the incident was clearly unacceptable. An official tells White House Correspondent Wendell Goler that the couple will likely be interviewed.
   The agency has admitted its short-comings resulting in the breach, telling Wendell the initial findings identified a Secret Service checkpoint which did not follow proper procedures to ensure that the two were on the invited guest list.
