New Hampshire isn't the only early voting state where outgoing U.S. Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman Jr. will be spending time after he wraps up his government position overseas.  Huntsman now has an appearance scheduled for May in South Carolina.  University of South Carolina Media Relations Director Margaret Lamb confirms to Fox that he will speak to graduating classes in Columbia on May 7.

That appearance would come just two days after Fox News Channel's GOP debate in Greenville.

South Carolina matters because its "first in the south" presidential primary is tentatively scheduled for January 28, just after New Hampshire's primary and Iowa's caucuses.  The state holds nine Electoral votes and 50 GOP delegates.

Huntsman, a Republican, is also scheduled to give the keynote commencement speech on May 21 at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.

The former two term governor of Utah, has been facing heavy speculation on whether he will jump into the presidential race.
