Taylor Swift reportedly sets black-tie dress code for lavish wedding

Taylor Swift is setting the tone for her big day.

The pop superstar has asked guests to don black-tie attire as she prepares to say "I do," sources told The New York Times. The insider noted some women are planning to wear full gowns.

For women, black-tie attire typically consists of floor-length evening gowns as the classic choice, though an elegant ankle-length or formal cocktail dress is sometimes accepted depending on the hosts' preferences and modern etiquette. Dressy heels, formal jewelry and an evening clutch are typical.

For men, a dark colored tuxedo, a white formal dress shirt, a black bow tie, black patent leather or highly polished dress shoes and optional cufflinks would work.

Swift and Kelce are reportedly getting married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden.
