Israeli UN ambassador: We're 'doing the dirty work' for democracies against Iran
Israeli U.N. Ambassador Danny Danon said Sunday that he and other leaders from his country, ahead of the G7 meeting in Canada this week, expect moral clarity and that the world understands Israel is “doing the dirty work” for democracies around the globe by taking on Iran before it can develop a nuclear bomb.
Danon was a guest on “The Big Weekend Show” on Sunday, when he was asked about what is next with the war with Iran and what will come out of the G7 meeting in Canada.
He told the hosts of the show that Israel takes any threats to exterminate the country seriously, as well as when Iran says it wants to build a nuclear bomb.
“We take it very seriously, the threat of Iran, and what we are doing now, we are eliminating the risk for Israel, but not only for Israel,” Danon said. “Today, those ballistic missiles are flying into Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. They can reach New York City and Miami. Give them a few months, they will have the technology and ability to do that. So, we are preventing Iran from building not only a nuclear bomb, they are actually building a ballistic missile power which can compete with the U.S. and Russia combined.”
He explained that many allies in the region have said they are happy to see Israel take on Iran, though they may not say it publicly. The recent attacks on Iran, he said, targeted military bases, infrastructure of ballistic missiles and nuclear reactors, though Iran is targeting Israel’s cities and neighborhoods.
Danon was asked about resolutions from the United Nations last year, 17 of which condemned Israel, compared to just six condemning the rest of the world, including North Korea, Iran and Syria. So, heading into the G7, he was asked what Israel can expect from the United Nations in terms of Israel’s war with Iran.
“We saw hypocrisy in action. You know, October 7 happened 20 months ago. The UN was not capable until today to pass one resolution condemning the atrocities of Hamas,” Danon said. “They saw the footage of what happened to us on October 7. They were not capable to pass a resolution condemning Hamas; it shows that you need leadership. We are waiting for the new US ambassador to come in very soon, and I'm sure that together we will continue to fight back against the hypocrisy of the UN.”
Iran launches missile attack on Israel as IDF urges citizens to seek shelter

Sirens sounded across Israel early Monday morning as Israel Defense Forces (IDF) urged the public to find protection after it identified missiles being launched from Iran toward Israel.
“A short while ago, the IDF identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel,” the IDF said. “Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat.
“Upon receiving an alert, the public is instructed to enter a protected space and remain there until further notice,” the IDF continued. “Leaving the protected space is only permitted following an explicit directive. Continue to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command.”
Sirens were heard from the Galilee to southern Israel, Tel Aviv and Central Israel just before 4:30 a.m. local time.
A short time later, IDF said there were several impact sites in Central Israel, adding that the public was permitted to leave protected spaces.
"Search and Rescue forces are operating in several locations across the country in which reports of fallen projectiles were received," IDF said. "The public is requested to continue to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command."

Trump says Israel and Iran 'have to fight it out' but believes deal is possible

President Donald Trump on Sunday said Israel and Iran sometimes ‘have to fight it out’ while expressing optimism that a deal can be struck as both countries continue to trade airstrikes amid fears of a wider conflict in the Middle East.
Trump was getting ready to board Air Force One to depart for Canada to attend the G7 Summit in Alberta when he was asked about his effort to help de-escalate the tensions between Israel and Iran.
"Well, I hope there's going to be a deal," Trump said. "I think it's time for a deal, and we'll see what happens. But sometimes they have to fight it out. But we're going to see what happens. I think there's a good chance there will be a deal."

Satellite images reveal the devastating blow Israel delivered to Iran's military might

High-resolution satellite images released on Sunday show the aftermath of Israel Defense Forces (IDF) airstrikes at Iranian military facilities.
Israel’s initial strikes against Iran on Thursday night targeted nuclear facilities as well as high-level military leaders.
One of the targets was the Kermanshah missile facilities in western Iran. Satellite images taken by Maxar Technologies showed multiple missile storage buildings along with numerous vehicle tunnel entrances used to conceal and hide missile-related equipment that had been destroyed or damaged.
At the Shiraz missile facilities in southern Iran, images showed active fires and burned vegetation in and around the facilities, however, no signs of destroyed buildings or vehicles could be seen.
Also in Shiraz, an electronics production facility was hit and satellite images from Sunday showed heavy smoke and active fires observed in and around the facility.
Images taken of the Bid Kaneh missile facility just southwest of Tehran showed multiple buildings were destroyed. Dozens of trucks, vehicles and other equipment also appeared to be relocated, according to Maxar Technologies, and were dispersed throughout the site.
Maxar said images of the Natanz enrichment facility, southeast of Tehran, showed new vehicle activity in the dirt that covers the underground centrifuge buildings at Natanz.
On Sunday’s imagery, vehicle tracks and small dirt piles can be seen at the Natanz facility, which correlates to the same areas where the craters were seen on Saturday, possibly indicating an effort to conceal/cover the craters.

Israel's strikes damaged Iranian deterrence in the region, former IDF official says

Israel’s preemptive attack on Iran not only marked a major milestone for the 77-year-old nation, but also a turning point for the Middle East. According to a former IDF spokesperson, as Jerusalem grapples with the ongoing war in Gaza, it’s clear Israel has its eyes set on one major goal: ensuring that Tehran never obtains a nuclear weapon.
Lt. Col. (Ret.) Jonathan Conricus, former IDF Spokesperson, senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) and co-founder of "BottomLine Media," told Fox News Digital that Israel is working to eradicate what it sees as an existential threat.
In the early hours of Friday morning local time, Israel carried out a series of airstrikes and covert operations to take out Iranian infrastructure and senior leadership. The IDF on Saturday said it had killed more than 20 Iranian commanders, including the head of the country’s Intelligence Directorate and the commander of Iran’s surface-to-surface missile array.

Former Israeli gov spokesman reveals Iran's sinister daylight missile strategy against civilians
Former Israeli government spokesperson Eylon Levy discussed Iran’s ballistic missile launchers being ‘deliberately targeted at civilian areas overnight’ on ‘Fox & Friends Weekend.’
“This is the first time that we've had Iranian ballistic missiles being fired in the middle of the day as opposed to the middle of the night, catching everyone off because they thought they would have until the evening,” Levy explained.
Levy added that while Israelis are well-trained on how to seek shelter quickly from attacks from Iran, this threat is "very different."
“We know the Iranian regime is launching dozens of missiles at the same time to overwhelm Israel's missile defenses and that it is deliberately aiming at Israel's civilian areas and civilian buildings,” Levy said. “We control the airspace over Tehran and the leaders of the regime in Iran need to think very carefully before they continue to bombard Israel's population centers.”
Levy said that the “root cause of the conflict in the Middle East is that Iran is governed by a radical fundamentalist religious regime that is trying to oppress the entire region in pursuit of its vision of destroying Israel."
“And Israel has now launched this operation to eliminate the twin threats of an Iranian nuclear bomb and ballistic missiles because it understands that the regime is committed to Israel's destruction,” Levy said. “That's the root of the conflict between us. Israel wants to exist, and the Iranian regime doesn't want us to exist.”
