Tinder date allegedly sends woman list of improvements after first date: ‘Just so I’m not embarrassed to be seen with you’

It seems like this bad date just keeps on giving.

Kimberley Latham-Hawkesford of Morecambe, Lancashire in England went on a disastrous date with a man she met on Tinder in December. Three months later, the suiter allegedly sent her a very lengthy set of improvements for her to make before their next meeting.

On Facebook, the 24-year-old posted the surprising list, where it has gone viral with over 24K shares and 15K reactions.

“Hello Kimberley, I know we went on a date quite a while ago now but I’d like to explain why I haven’t messaged you,” the message, allegedly from Luke James, starts. “I feel like you could have made the date much better, here’s a few reasons why. I apologize if I offend you.”

The pages of text continue with a 15 bullet-point list, mapping out each way James allegedly feels Latham-Hawkesford could improve herself. Among them being self-tanner, lip filler, hair extensions and being more confident.

“The fact you take things slow makes you look like a prude. I didn’t get a kiss which messed with my ego. Be more sensitive to others feelings,” one of the complaints on the list read.

The man had a problem with Latham-Hawkesford’s choice of conversation, as well, stating: “You need to keep your past to a minimum. I don’t care about it and what you went through.”

James, who was seemingly incensed that Latham-Hakesford offered to pay even after he told her “how much is in [his bank] account,” also had an issue with what she ordered — claiming she needed to lose weight, as well.

“When we had food I know you got a salad but having full fat coke is more calories you really don’t need,” he wrote in the text.

The list concluded with an option for another date, if Latham-Hawkesford made the required changes.

“I will give you a month and get back in touch to see if this made a difference,” he writes in the alleged message.

Those on social media were, unsurprisingly, not on board with the man’s attitude and slammed the supposed series of texts as “rude.”

“How rude can someone be??” one wrote.

“What a absolout (sic) narcissistic piece of [s---],” another wrote.

“What a d----e,” someone commented. “Wants natural features buuuuut (sic) wants her to get lip fillers?”

“What a scum bag,” another responded.

Some questioned whether or not the texts were real.

“omg surely this isn’t real! This guy doesn’t deserve any girl after that!” one wrote on Facebook.

“There's no way this actually happened haha,” another commented.

Latham-Hawkesford told LADBible that when she received the message it “absolutely killed” her confidence. But she bounced back.

“At first I was absolutely mortified and it killed my confidence, but the more I read it the funnier it became. I couldn’t understand how a guy could say such things to a woman,” she said.

Though initially hurt, Latham-Hawkesford was not surprised by the response, telling LADBible that on their first date he asked her if she would get plastic surgery and suggested places she should go to get a new wardrobe before their next date.
