Updated

With Memorial Day and June (mostly) behind us, summer is pretty much in full swing — so it's about time our wardrobes caught up.

FNM spoke with a few fashion experts and stylists for some of the hottest trends we can expect to see this season. Keep reading to learn the five must-have items that'll make this summer sizzle:

The Off-the-Shoulder Look

The hottest trend this summer — and one that all of the stylists could not stop talking about — is the off-the-shoulder look. This Brigitte Bardot-inspired style swept every major retailer this season, and can be found in stores ranging from Neiman Marcus to Forever 21. Almost every designer has their own version of the off-the-shoulder top or dress, because it’s a fun and flirty silhouette that flatters every shape. Here are some of our favorite picks:

TALL Stripe Linen Bardot Top: Top Shop, $55

Off-the-Shoulder Crop Top: H&M, $12.99

Banana Dress: Reformation, $98

The Two-Piece Set

Another look that our experts are loving this season is the two-piece set. Jia Wertz, who has styled the on-air talent at Access Hollywood, told us that "matching two-piece sets are definitely of-the-moment. Their versatility allows you to wear them as a set or mix and match to create a number of looks." We at Fox News Magazine agree, and we like Reformation's wide variety of great two-piece sets to choose from:

Granada Two-Piece: Reformation, $158

Ava Two-Piece: Reformation, $198

Reformation: Don Two-Piece, $118

Suede and Fringe

Think suede is just for fall and winter? Think again. Our stylists said that summer suede and fringe can act as the perfect accent to your outfit, and even bring a boho vibe. Jia said that the trick to rocking fringe and suede is to "make fringe the statement piece of your outfit and keep everything else simple in neutral colors." If you’re a fan of '70s style, this trend is perfect for you:

Shoulder Bag With Suede Fringe, H&M, $34.99

Faux-Suede Tasseled Cape: Top Shop, $85

Fringed Leather High Heels: Zara, $99.90

'90s-Style Slip Dresses

Not feeling the '70s? Maybe you’re a '90s chick instead. Trend analyst Charcy Evers said that the '90s are back and here to stay. One major look from that era is the slip dress. Chary suggested pairing a slip dress with sneakers for casual events, or over a tee and with a choker necklace for the quintessential '90s look. For a more sophisticated outfit, you could combine a slip dress with high-heeled sandals and a fitted blazer. Here's a few slip dresses that caught our eye:

Gypsy Warrior Many Moons Slip Dress: Forever 21, $54

Feliz Dress: Reformation, $98

Silence + Noise A-Line Minidress: Urban Outfitters, $69

Bodysuits, Bodysuits, Bodysuits

Finally, bodysuits made big waves last summer, and they continue to have major staying power. "For clean lines and a perfectly fitted look, bodysuits are the way to go," Jia says. "Not only are they an easy piece to wear, but we have seen them on style icons galore, from Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to Lily Aldridge and Selena Gomez." Bodysuits are extremely versatile and can be paired with skirts, cut-off shorts, or your favorite pair of boyfriend jeans. Here are some of our favorites:

Out From Under Super-Plunge Bodysuit: Urban Outfitters, $44

TALL Elastic Strappy Body: Top Shop, $35
