What’s summer without romance? The soft summer evening breeze inspires even the toughest of girls to soften up and think of soft romantic dressing.

I was asked the other day what a romantic look means to me and should everyone woman wear it? Romance and femininity go hand in hand in my book. A romantic look is one that is soft and inspires femininity. And yes I do think every woman should wear a romantic look that fits her personality.

This season we are so lucky that some of the biggest trends include sheer fabrics, lace, metallic and embroidered floral fabrics. These are some of the best ingredients for the most feminine romantic looks.

Whether you are girly girl or a tough chic this is definitely a trend I suggest you embrace this season.  Finding that inner romantic is what summer is all about.

So, how do you do girly and enchanted summer looks the right way? You need to decide which look you want and best identify with.  Are you going for the feminine Fairy Goddess look, the Sexy Romantic or the Soft Rocker .

The Fairy Goddess is the woman that is all romance. She dreams of starry nights and wears a scent inspired by gardenia filled gardens. She wears the sheerest soft pastel dresses with empire waist and metallic ballet slippers. Her jewelry is small diamonds and if she feels inspired wears flowers in her hair.

The Sexy Romantic loves to slow dance on the beach under the stars and her scent is more musky and mysterious. She loves the feel of silk and lace and will most likely have one bold piece of jewelry, perhaps a cocktail ring. Her hair is loose and in soft waves. Her shoe is a metallic sandal and her dress silhouette is a beautiful bias cut or anything that accentuates her curves.

The Soft Rocker likes to mix it up she wears her leather and lace while riding on the back of a Harley to the next party. Her scent is clean and fresh and her shoe of choice is always boots. This girl wears a corseted dress with a leather jacket. Her jewelry is all about chains and ribbons and her hair is as wild as she is.

Whether you are 15 or 50 you will identify with one of these romantic looks or maybe are a blend of two or all three. Play with each look and decide which us best for you.
