59-year old 'Glam Mum' Nicola Griffin, has traveled to the US, Caribbean and all over Europe strutting her stuff in magazines and fashion shows, in little more than a bikini. Griffin's modeling career began five years ago when she was scouted by an agent while grocery shopping. Encouraged by her daughters, within months Griffin was in the Caribbean taking part in her first modeling gig.

Twenty years ago, Nicola Griffin didn’t even like stripping down to her bathing suit at the beach. Now, the 59-year-old UK “Glam Mum” does it for a living.

The silver-haired fox has traveled to the US, the Caribbean and all over Europe to strut her stuff for magazines and fashion shows, and her sexy shoots are taking the world by storm.

“The past few years have been a whirlwind,” says the hot mama, who has more than 12,500 followers on Instagram. “Before modeling the furthest I would go was to the supermarket.”

It all started five years ago when Griffin was scouted by an agent while grocery shopping. She was hesitant at first, but her twin daughters, Tabitha and Elly, now 24, urged her to “go for it.” Within months, she was in the Caribbean, frolicking in a sexy bathing suit for her first modeling gig.

“I was with four much younger models, so when I was handed a bikini, I thought they must have got the swimwear mixed up,” she tells Caters News Agency. “I thought, ‘Why would anyone want to see me in that?’

“Five years later, my mindset has completely changed,” she adds.

The former businesswoman says she works out every other day with weights and has a healthy diet, but that she thinks people relate to her because she has a “normal” body.

“My confidence is now sky high and I have accepted my body for what it is,” she says.

And as she approaches the age of 60, Griffin has no plans to slow down.

“I will stop the day I die,” she says. “I’m not planning on giving up anytime soon.”
