A restaurant in North Carolina is warning other nearby businesses to keep an eye out after a woman stole their tip jar.

Manny Chamorro, a manager at Six Happiness Asian Restaurant in Leland, said the thief came into the restaurant and first asked for money. She then placed an order and, when no one was looking, grabbed the tip jar off the counter and walked out.

“I turned my back to help another customer. As soon as I came back, she was gone," Chamorro told WECT 6 News.

The employees noticed the jar was missing about an hour later.

"Honestly I was very upset at the moment. We work really hard. The restaurant is big, but we are a family restaurant and work very hard for our customers," Chamorro said. (Google )
