Food photography is hard. Just ask Martha Stewart.

But a new product aims to take the guess work out taking high-quality food photos.

Introducing #dinnercam (yes, the hashtag is part of its name). This large, box-like lighting apparatus boasts that it “creates the perfect studio to take social media food shots to the next level.”

MWEB, a WiFi provider, has partnered with South African restaurant El Burro to debut #dinnercam to the public, according to Eater. For no fee, diners who wish to take a more professional snapshot of their meal before digging in can request the lightbox. The camera features several lighting settings -- from green to purple and traditional white -- to help users really capture the mood of their food. After snapping a pic, #dinnercam sends it right to your mobile device.

No word yet on when or if the device will be available in the U.S., but we’re sure there are a few foodies out there who can’t wait to get give it a try.

To date, nearly 140 photos have been tagged on Instagram using the #dinnercam hashtag and we must admit, the results are pretty.
